Young adult author Melinda Salisbury met with bookworms at Ipswich Waterstones on Wednesday, as part of the store’s programme of author visits.
The fantasy author met with the store’s YA book club to talk about her fantasy series, The Sin Eater’s Daughter before answering questions on themes in the books, including feminism and folklore.
On Wednesday, April 12, Lisa Thompson will be in store to sign copies of her book Goldfish Boy and talking to young readers.
Her books, popular with children aged between nine and 12 who are fans of David Walliams’ books.
Jem Gooding, children’s books seller at the store said: “Having authors here putting stories directly into the hands and heads of book fans is exactly what the bookshop experience is all about, it is exciting and a pleasure to be involved.”
