Property has been damaged and goods stolen during a trio of burglaries at Suffolk businesses early this morning.

The first premises, a business in High Street, Hadleigh was broken in to just after 1am; the second happened at around 1.20am at a service station on the northbound A12 at Capel St Mary and the third was reported just after 3am at a business address in Bramford Road, Ipswich.

Cigarettes and alcohol were stolen from the A12 service station, while the offenders are thought to have left the other two premises empty handed.

Officers are investigating possible links between the three crimes.

Suspects are described as being two or three men in hooded dark clothing. One offender is described as being well-built, and was wearing a red top. Another suspect is thought to have been wearing a baseball hat. It is believed that the offenders were driving a dark coloured estate car.
