At least one person was injured in a collision between a car and a motorbike in Ipswich.

Police were called at 9.35am today to reports of a collision on the bridge in London Road, between Burger King and the Suffolk Retail Park.

An ambulance crew was sent to the scene, where at least one person is thought to have sustained minor injuries.

It was reported that a fuel tank erupted on one of the vehicles – causing a fuel spill on the road.

Police warned motorists that the length of London Road was blocked for recovery to take place.
