A woman was treated by paramedics after she was involved in a collision between two cars in Suffolk today.

An Audi and a Toyota crashed on the A1189 Nacton Road at the junction with the A14 near Ransomes Industrial Estate around 4pm.

Police, three fire engines and an ambulance were called to the scene.

A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said one woman was treated for neck and back pain.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service dispatched two vehicles from Ipswich East and one from Ipswich Princes Street at 4.34pm. It declared the incident under control an hour later.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk Constabulary said the road was clear at 6.15pm.
