A lane on the A12 was closed for three hours to allow the road to be cleared and the crash barrier to be repaired following a two-vehicle crash.

Police were called to the road near Ingatestone just before 11am after the crash between the McLaren supercar and the Citroen.

An ambulance arrived and both drivers were checked over but did not require hospital treatment.
