Part of the A12 southbound carriageway is closed due to an overturned car between Woodbridge and Martlesham.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said it seemed a car with a trailer had jack-knifed and the car was on its roof.

She said the A12 southbound is closed between the Hasketon roundabout and the Martlesham roundabout, although it is hoped lane one will reopen shortly.

She said one occupant of the car had suffered minor injuries and was being checked over by paramedics.
