The incident happened between J44 and J45 of the A14.

A police spokespersons said they were called to reports of a single vehicle collision shortly before 3pm.

Four vehicles from Suffolk Fire and Rescue were alerted to the incident where a man was trapped in the car.

A spokesperson for the service said that the man was able to be freed from the car.

His injuries are not yet known.
