A14/Wherstead: Two car collision on slip-road

POLICE were called to a two-vehicle collision near the Wherstead junction of A14 this morning just after 8am.

They report the eastbound slip road at the Wherstead junction was closed for a short time as they dealt with the incident.

The collision involved a Peugeot 106 and a Volkswagen Passat

The drivers sustained only minior injuries and were able to drive away from the scene shortly after 8.30am
