A lorry is partially blocking a busy road in Suffolk after one of its tyres blew.

Suffolk police received reports of an accident on the A140 near to Coddenham and the junction with the A14, at around 6.10pm.

A police spokesman said the heavy goods vehicle was fully loaded and heading towards the A14 junction when the tyre blew.

Tyre fitters have been called to the scene to assist the lorry, which was still partially blocking the road at 7pm.

The police spokesman said there had been no significant impact on other drivers.
