A14: Police investigate after car windscreen chipped

POLICE have launched an investigation after a car’s windscreen was chipped as it passed under a bridge on the A14 near Trimley.
At just after 6.50pm this evening police were contacted after a car’s windscreen was chipped whilst being driven under a bridge on the A14 between Trimley and Kirton.
A police spokesperson said that the driver had not seen anyone on the bridge and had carried on his way after the incident.
She added that police had carried out checks in the carriageway and on the bridge but had nothing to report.
