The A14 has been closed eastbound between Whitehouse and Copdock after a van spun across the road and came to a rest straddling the carriageway.

A spokesman for Suffolk Constabulary said the road was expected to reopen shortly after 7pm, although traffic was backed up to Claydon.

No one has been reported hurt.
