St Jude’s storm is set to reach its peak in Suffolk and North Essex between 8 and 10am.
That’s according to a forecast from Weatherquest this morning.
With relatively little damage done by the storm overnight in the region residents of the two counties will have to brave just a few more hours before it begins to subside.
However there is still the possibility of winds reaching 50-60mph in some places with windspeed picking up throughout the morning.
Showers are expected from the west during the afternoon though rainfall is unlikely to exceed half an inch.
