Inquests have opened into the deaths of two young men who died in a road crash on the A12.

Christopher Doran, 19, of Bampton, Oxfordshire and John Cash, 18, of Ashford, Kent, were in a Citroen Berlingo on November 23 when it hit a wall in Blythburgh at about 9.30pm.

Mr Cash, who worked as a builder, was pronounced dead at the scene at about 9.50pm. A post-mortem found he died from head injuries.

Mr Doran, who was a ground worker, died at the scene at 10.20pm from chest injuries.

Yesterday their inquests were opened and adjourned in Bury St Edmunds for a police investigation to continue.
