THREE people have been arrested in relation to burglaries in the west of the county.

Police in Bury St Edmunds have arrested a 44-year-old man from the Diss area, a 19-year old-man of no fixed abode and a 14-year-old boy from the Diss area on suspicion of committing burglary.

The three are being held in custody at the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigating Centre.

The arrests were made in conjunction with Operation Drawbridge – Suffolk Police’s proactive countywide initiative, aimed at reducing the number of burglaries across the county and increasing the number of crimes being solved with offenders brought to justice.
