Company secretarial software provider Inform Direct has been named among the finalists in the Business Finance Awards, run by Financial Director magazine.

Ipswich-based Inform Direct is in the running for the Sofware System of the Year title, and will learn if it has won at an event to be held at the Royal Garden Hotel in central London on March 9.

Henry Catchpole, chief executive of Inform Direct, said: “We are thrilled to have been recognised by our peers within the financial industry and to be part of a very strong shortlist which includes some fantastic platforms and tools. We are very much looking forward to the evening.”

Inform Direct provides cloud-based company formation and secretarial software enabling accountants and business owners to incorporate companies and manage all the records of new and existing companies.

It provides an online platform for a range of actions including filing annual returns, updating shareholder records, creating share certificates, producing dividend vouchers, submitting dormant accounts and forming new companies.

The business has seen rapid growth since its launch in 2012, reaching the 10,000 user landmark towards the end of 2015.

Mr Catchpole added: “The platform is a helpful tool for all businesses, whether you are an accountancy practice managing the records of hundreds of clients, a bookkeeper managing 10 or a small business owner looking after your own affairs.

“It saves you time and ensures everything is all in one place. It has become an invaluable tool for businesses.”
