Suffolk accountant Colin Wash is to merge his Ipswich-based business into the Bury St Edmunds office of regional accountancy firm Lovewell Blake.

Mr Wash has 25 years’ experience as a partner in top ten national accountancy practices, and has a wealth of experience in dealing with both owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organisations. Over the past decade he has specialised in the charities and education sector.

He will transfer to the Lovewell Blake office on the Hillside Business Park in Bury later this month, together with his staff.

Lovewell Blake managing partner Colin Fish said: “We are delighted to welcome Colin and his team into Lovewell Blake. He brings a good range of complementary skills and experience into our Suffolk-based team. Colin is well-known in the county, and this merger cements our commitment to building our business in Suffolk, as well as more widely in the region.

“His existing clients will enjoy continuity in the service they receive, as well as gaining access to a wider range of services and specialist expertise which Lovewell Blake can offer.”

Mr Wash added: “I am delighted to become part of Lovewell Blake, which is a firm with a very good reputation across the region, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service to businesses and organisations throughout Suffolk.”
