There are some issues that are difficult to talk about in the workplace.

Emily Fazah from Suffolk is highlighting one of those often-overlooked subjects with her new business, Moody Girl.

For many women, pre-menstrual tension is not simply a monthly inconvenience but can bring difficulties in terms of health and fitness, and even make it difficult to hold down a job.

Ms Fazah, who worked in the recording industry and advertising in London, has returned to Suffolk to launch her new business.

The aim is to raise awareness of premenstrual disorders such as severe PMT and PMDD and raise funds for charities working in the area to find solutions.

Ms Fazah said: “I have struggled with managing my severe PMT since puberty. Moody Girl helps women who suffer through online advice and also shares Moody Girl stories.”

“Moody Girl helps women who suffer through online advice and also shares Moody Girl stories.

“I embarked on countless trips to the GP’s who met my woes with the all too familiar blank expressions. All this time I felt alone and as if I was the only one suffering from this condition.

“Moody Girl was my way of reaching out to other women sufferers online to open a line of communication about these debilitating conditions.”

A special launch event is being held at the Pacitti Company Think Tank in Ipswich on August 18.
