One of the architects of the Vote Leave campaign ahead of the European Union referendum will be the speaker at the Ipswich Suffolk Business Club’s next dinner event.
Matthew Elliott, currently a senior fellow at the Legatum Institute and senior political adviser to Shore Capital, was chief executive of Vote Leave and has also been involved in campaign groups such as the TaxPayers’ Alliance, Big Brother Watch and Business for Britain (a precursor to Vote Leave).
He will be speaking at a dinner being held by the Ipswich Suffolk Business Club for its members and their guests at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall on Thursday, March 8 − part of an annual programme of events run by the club with the support of Milsoms Kesgrave Hall, Greene King and Genesis PR.
Luke Morris, who chairs the club, said: “We very much look forward to welcoming Matthew to what promises to be a fabulous dinner and talk.”
Membership of the Ipswich Suffolk Business Club includes business owners, leaders and key decision makers from a broad spectrum of industry sectors, with a shared goal of promoting business growth, inward investment and employment in the county.
Previous speakers at its events have included Chancellor of the Exchequer Phillip Hammond, Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and technology entrepreneur Mike Lynch.
