Rail services between Ipswich and Felixstowe have been cancelled due to a broken down freight train.

The train broke down between Ipswich and Westerfield and had to be assisted by another locomotive.

It led to the cancellation of the 7.14am Ipswich to Felixstowe train and 07.47am Felixstowe to Ipswich train.

Greater Anglia said disruption was expected until 08.25am.
