Car and lorry collide on A14 eastbound at Wherstead

A car and a lorry collided on the A14 just before the Orwell Bridge tonight.

The eastbound carriageway was closed at Wherstead for recovery of the car.

The crash happened just after 10pm and involved a lorry and a Toyota Avensis.

A police spokesman said no one was injured in the collision.

The road reopened around 10.45pm.
