Child rescued after being locked in bathroom in Cambridge Drive, Ipswich

Firefighters rescued a child that had become locked in a bathroom in Cambridge Drive, Ipswich, this afternoon.

A crew from Ipswich East attended the incident at 1.48pm.

A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the crew had left the scene by 2.04pm.

  • I am sure the child could have been freed without the need of calling the fire (and rescue) service.
