An e-fit has been released of a man suspected of being involved in the robbery of a Carphone Warehouse shop.
The incident happened on February 19 around 5pm when two men entered the store on Brook Retail Park in London Road.
More than 100 phones, covers and several iPads were stolen.
One man pushed two members of staff to the back of the shop while the second kicked open the staff room door and loaded items from the store room into a bag.
The pair then left through a fire door at the rear of the store leaving the staff members unharmed but badly shaken.
The phones stolen included iPhone 4 and 5s, Samsung Notes and Galaxies, and Blackberries.
The man in the e-fit image is described as being of mixed race with a round face. He was at least 5ft 9in tall. The second man was white, slightly taller than the first, and was wearing a black beanie hat.
Investigating officer Dc Emma Beynon said: “The retail park would have been quite busy at the time and we would like to talk to anyone who saw these men hanging around before the robbery or leaving in some kind of vehicle.
“The men would have been quite obvious because one was carrying a large bag full of boxes containing the phones and other items.”
Anyone who can identify the man in the e-fit, or has any other information, should contact Dc Beynon at Clacton CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
