Clacton: Police close investigation into Cloes Lane explosion

The investigation into Wednesday’s explosion in Clacton has now been handed over to the Health and Safety Executive.

Police concluded their enquiries today after examining rubble left after the explosion in Cloes Lane.

Two people - a man in his 70s and a woman in her 50s - remain in hospital in Chelmsford being treated for burns.
