Coddenham: Firefighters called to field blaze involving six hectares

Firefighters were called to a field in Coddenham this afternoon following reports of a blaze involving six hectares of stubble.

Two crews from Princes Street station, Elmswell, Ipswich East and Debenham were sent to the incident in Needham Road at about 2pm.

The personnel on scene used three hosereels to bring the fire under control shortly before 3pm.
