Colchester: Car collides with ambulance responding to call

An ambulance crew member has been treated for back pain after the emergency vehicle collided with a car in Colchester.
The ambulance was responding to a report of someone suffering chest pain in the town when the crash happened at 4.23pm.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said the crew member was treated by first responders at the scene and that an investigation had been launched into the cause of the collision.
