Colchester: Flat fire is extinguished

FIREFIGHTERS in Essex were scrambled to a flat fire in Longstraw Close, Colchester, on Sunday afternoon.
The blaze broke out at 3.18pm and two crews from Colchester, along with a crew from Tiptree, were mobilised, after it was reported somebody was possibly in the property.
Just after 3.30pm, the incident commander reported that the fire had been extinguished and everyone had been accounted for unharmed.
