Police are searching for a man who took a picture of himself on a stolen mobile.

The man, who is white and has thick eyebrows, snapped himself on the HTC phone which was stolen from a student on April 10.

The boy was walking through Wivenhoe Park in Colchester at around 7.30pm when the mobile was taken from his coat pocket.

However the image of whoever now has the phone has found its way to Essex Police who want to contact him.

If you have any information about the man in the photo call Pc Joe Self from the Neighbourhood Crime Team at Colchester police station on 101.
