Despite not working on Fridays, commuter Anita Curtis took an unexpected trip to the capital this morning - and was shocked by the service.

She said: “The so called inter city train that arrived was a disgrace. “Uncomfortable, no wi-fi, no catering and dirty. We did get an apology. “Apparently this is due to train improvement work!” she said.

“Can’t wait to see these improvements.”

  • The only beneficial "improvement" would be for Shambellio to get the boot, sooner the better! They have managed to achieve the unenviable task of being actually worse than their predecessors, National Express! Whats more they seem determined to stick that stupid and meaningless "Abellio" tag in front of everything now. At what cost one wonders, with all the rebranding, and why isn't that money put into customer benefits? Vain and bumbling amateurs.
