IT has been a pleasant few days for commuters travelling between Ipswich and London, reports Anita Curtis.

Last night she emailled to say: “Well - no complaints from me tonight. A seat, peace and quiet and the train on time. What more could a girl want?”

And this morning she added: “Nothing to report. Normal train and on time.”

What will next week hold?

  • What IS the point of this non-news?? Just because her trains are OK now and again, doesn't mean they all are. Couple of days ago she was praising "a good day" yet I was put on a replacement bus. As I've said before, its not what goes wrong - and it invariably will, its how its dealt with and how passengers are treated and problems dealt with. The efforts of Greater Anglia have much to be desired on that front and sadly they are no different from the last lot, just more arrogant.
