COMMUTERS have faced hassle free journeys to and from the capital over the last two days.

Anita Curtis, who travels between Ipswich and London Liverpool Street daily, reported yesterday: “Another quiet night tonight although apparently there were long delays yesterday morning due to over-running engineering works but I missed them.

“Fingers crossed for remainder of week.”

And it would appear her positive thoughts are working because this morning she emailed to say: “At the risk of sounding boring another quiet morning on train. No problems and only five minutes late arriving.”

Misleading headline - COMMUTERS have faced hassle free journeys to and from the capital over the last two days. Not true! The 5.18 from Diss was delayed for almost an hour on Monday by over-running engineering works.
