Suffolk police car clocked at 138mph

A cyclist involved in a collision with a lorry at a roundabout in Ipswich was treated by paramedics this morning.

The man suffered minor injuries after the collision involving an Iveco lorry in Felixstowe Road at the roundabout junction with Bucklesham Road at 7.15am.

An East of England Ambulance Service Trust spokesman described the man as “walking wounded” but said he did not require further treatment and was not taken to hospital.

Police said no arrests were made.

No further details about the man were released.
