Drivers are thought to have suffered possible injuries after a crash which caused delays on the A12 this afternoon.

Suffolk police received reports of a two vehicle crash in the southbound carriageway between Melton and Bredfield at 3.50pm.

A police spokesman said the inside lane was blocked for around half an hour, while the vehicles were recovered.

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust was called to the scene.

Details of the injuries are not known but are not thought to be serious.
