FORMER Ipswich Star and EADT sports reporter Dave Gooderham, has been named sports reporter of the year at the EDF Energy East of England media awards.


Dave, who reported on Ipswich Town until leaving the company earlier this month, is well known amongst fans for his live coverage, breaking stories and team updates.

Others shortlisted for awards included Le-Anne Reeves, who was nominated for designer of the year, and Amie Keeley, who was nominated for newcomer of the year.

The ceremony was held today in Newmarket.

Congratulatory messages are already flooding in via Twitter.
