Chart-topping Suffolk singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran has been named the third richest British celebrity under the age of 30 with a whopping £52million fortune.

The Framlingham hitmaker was ranked third behind Adele (£132m) and Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe (£78m) in the Heat magazine annual list.

The figure marks an increase from the £45m worth which put him third in the list last year.

The list analyses estimated earnings from record sales, product endorsements, TV contracts and salaries.

Among those the 26-year-old beat in the list were all four members of One Direction, former member Zayn Malik, Daniel Radcliffe’s Harry Potter co-star Emma Watson and the four members of Little Mix.

Outside of the UK, Justin Bieber was the richest under 30 celebrity with an astronomical £231m estimated worth, ahead of Ed Sheeran’s buddy Taylor Swift, who had £209m.
