Essex: Car driven through county with missing tyre

Police are appealing for witnesses to a vehicle seen to be driving with a tyre missing in mid-Essex.

The blue Toyota Hilux was reportedly travelling along the A12 at Kelvedon, through Feering and then to Coggeshall and Earls Colne at around 3.20am today.

The offside front tyre was reported to be missing which is believed to have affected the control of the vehicle and in turn caused other vehicle to take avoiding action.
