11:17 07 October 2012

Archant

Police are appealing for witnesses to a vehicle seen to be driving with a tyre missing in mid-Essex.

The blue Toyota Hilux was reportedly travelling along the A12 at Kelvedon, through Feering and then to Coggeshall and Earls Colne at around 3.20am today.

The offside front tyre was reported to be missing which is believed to have affected the control of the vehicle and in turn caused other vehicle to take avoiding action.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Pc Alex Black at the Stanway road policing unit on 101 ext 486131 or by email at alex.black@essex.pnn.police.uk
