Felixstowe: Fire crews called out to house fire in resort

FIREFIGHTERS were scrambled to a house fire in the resort this morning.

Two crews from Felixstowe were mobilised to the blaze, in St Mary’s Crescent, just after 7am today.

On arrival it was discovered there was a fire in a bedroom and crews used one hose reel jet and one covering jet to battle the flames.

The incident was brought under control just after 7.25am.
