A man reported missing after arguing with his partner has been found safe and well.

Matthew Scales, 33, from Felixstowe, was found in Ipswich this morning after he contacted police following media appeals to trace him.

A spokesman for Suffolk Constabulary said: “Police received a number of calls from members of the public reporting sightings of him and we would like to thank everyone who assisted with this appeal.”

Mr Scales had been reported missing on Saturday after he left the Brightwell Close area of Felixstowe following an argument with his partner.
