Archant

A small sailing boat had to be rescued at the mouth of the River Deben after running aground.

The 28ft vessel with three people on board got stuck at around 8pm, but had been freed by the coastguard within an hour.

  • Why put on a picture of stormy sea around the pier? These were not the weather conditions last evening, this is not the entrance to the Deben! Lazy lazy Evening Star. Time to get Richard Cornwall out with his camera for some new shots to keep on file?
