Two teenage boys are due to appear at Ipswich Youth Court tomorrow morning charged with going equipped for theft following an incident in Felixstowe on the evening of Sunday, January 5.

Police were initially contacted around 11pm by a member of the public who reported youths shining a torch into vehicles and trying car door handles.

Officers attended and arrests were made a short time later.

A 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy have now been charged with going equipped for theft.

The 14-year-old, from Felixstowe, has also been charged with stealing a sling shot from a VW Polo parked in Coronation Drive on the same evening, while the 15-year-old, from Lowestoft, has been charged with two separate counts of theft relating to computer games being stolen from individuals.

Both are now due to appear at Ipswich Youth Court from 9.20am tomorrow, March 27.
