The driver of a Land Rover who failed to stop at the scene of an accident in Ferry Road, Felixstowe is being sought by police.

Police are appealing for information after the accident which happened around 2.05pm yesterday, Tuesday, March 11.

A burgundy/red coloured Land Rover was in collision with a male cyclist under the bridge in Ferry Road, knocking the rider off his bike. He sustained minor injuries.

The driver of the Land Rover failed to stop at the scene and police need to trace him or her, any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information about the driver or vehicle involved.

Anyone who saw what happened or anyone with information about the person responsible is asked to call Pc Claire Roper at Felixstowe quoting CAD 240 of Tuesday, March 11.

  • I think this must refer to the bridge that is actually in Gulpher Road and runs from Walton High Street to Ferry Road.
