A “vulnerable” man who said he was leaving for London has been reported as missing to police.

Christopher Searle, 37, of Felixstowe, was last seen on January 7 before an apparent trip to the capital.

There is concern as he does not have access to his prescription medication and officers believe he may be sleeping rough in the Walthamstow/Epping Forest area.

Mr Searle, who was reported as missing on Wednesday, is white, around five foot seven inches tall, of medium build, with thinning short dark brown hair. He is likely to be wearing casual clothing including jeans and trainers.

Police are appealing for any sightings of him and are asking anyone who may have seen him or anyone with information about where he is now to get in touch.

Call Felixstowe police by calling Suffolk police on 101.
