The new office, at 97 Hamilton Road, Felixstowe, will be headed by local solicitor Matthew Boast, who is already established in the town and, with his team, will continue to offer legal advice and assistance to his existing client base and to new clients of Gotelee.

Alistair Lang, chief executive of Gotelee Solicitors, said: “We have been looking for a means to access the Felixstowe legal market for some months so this chance to acquire suitable premises is ideal particularly so given the opportunity to recruit an experienced group of staff, well respected in the Felixstowe community, to kick start our new venture.”

And Mr Lang added: “We expect to engage additional resource sooner rather than
later and move towards providing a full service to the local market.”

  • I called in to the office that was Blocks at 97 Hamilton Road, and was advised that all the staff have been transferred from Blocks to Gotelee Solicitors. Blocks should have advised all their Felixstowe clients giving them the option to stay at the same office with Gotelee or leave with Blcoks at Ipswich. This should have been done today but apparently very few, if any, have received the letter advising them of this.

  • As Blocks, Solicitors are already at 97 Hamilton Road, and Matthew Boast (according to Google) is a partner at Blocks, is there a change of ownership or employment as well?
