Two people have been arrested on suspicion of robbery following an incident at a home in Granville Road in Felixstowe around midnight on Monday 30 September into Tuesday 1 October.
Police were contacted just after midnight by a man in his 30s who reported a man had entered his home and assaulted him before stealing a white Samsung mobile phone, a wallet, cash and cards. The victim sustained an injury to his mouth and pain to his jaw.
Officers attended and began a search of the area and a 36-year-old man, from Halesworth, was stopped in Beach Station Road a short time later. He was arrested in connection with the robbery and taken into custody where he was interviewed by officers.
A 33-year-old woman, from Felixstowe, was arrested yesterday afternoon in connection with the robbery and was also interviewed by police about what happened.
Both the man and the woman have now been bailed to return to police on November 13 pending further enquiries.
