Felixstowe: Man dies after car hits lamppost

A MAN has died after the car he was driving collided with a lamppost in Felixstowe today.
Police were called shortly after 9.40am to reports of the single-vehicle collision involving a Honda in Mill Lane.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene and the road was closed.
The man, who is understood to be in his 80s and from the town, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
If anyone witnessed the collision they are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
