No, it isn’t - simply an unusual stone found by Felixstowe reporter Richard Cornwell on the beach near Cobbold’s Point.

Richard said: “The area is littered with these strange shaped pieces of clay where the sea has taken and swirled stones against them, causing deep but sometimes perfect holes all the way through.”

He added: “The power of nature.”

  • What with rocks with holes in them (um ... never seen that before!) and Pyramids, Felixstowe has suddenly become so exciting. What ever next will be discovered? I cannot hold myself together with anticipation. Will they find water there?
