Firefighters were called to a blaze at a derelict building in Brantham this evening.

Six fire crews – from Princes Street, Holbrook, and two each from Manningtree and Ipswich East – attended the fire at Factory Lane around 7.10pm.

Crews managed to get the ground floor blaze under control just before 9pm.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
