There was a newcomer to the Love Island villa last night - a personal trainer who left stunning Suffolk to live in London with his former girlfriend.

Kieran Nicholls, 26, has revealed he made the move away from East Anglia in a bid to make the relationship work but clearly his efforts did not go far enough as the couple split eight months ago.

And now he is looking for a new love on ITV’s hit show Love Island.

He has already made his mark, revealing he is hoping to be coupled with Kaz.

He said: “In the villa, I’ve got my eye on Kaz in terms of looks and personality. She has her head screwed on and she knows where she wants to be and that’s a trait I look for.”

Not putting his eggs in one basket, he added: “Megan is also pretty hot. Maybe she might meet someone like me who will tame her.”

The soon-to-be star also explained what he is looking for from Love Island.

He said: “Hopefully I can get on well with one of the girls in there and build a connection with them. I want to spend time with someone who is going to make me want to spend time with them. I am guilty of saying I don’t like to look too far ahead and I live each day as it comes but when I do get along with someone, I do start to think in to the future, sometimes a bit too far ahead.”
