Classic and Sports Cars by the Lake, at Hall Farm, Fornham St Martin, is organised by Andrew and Gina Long, of Hall Farm, and the charity’s voluntary special events committee.

The organisers already have more than 400 car entries and are confident 600 vehicles will be on show on August 31.

Mr Long said: “Classic and Sports Cars by the Lake has established a loyal following of car and motorcycle exhibitors, who are the stars of the show.

“We think this, our fifth year, will be our biggest and best yet. I hope people put the date in their diary and help us to raise much-needed funds for a very worthy cause – St Nicholas Hospice Care.”
