SUFFOLK’s singer/songwriter sensation Ed Sheeran has revealed he will be performing at next month’s prestigious Grammy Awards.

The 21-year-old’s track A Team has been shortlisted in the song of the year category at the event, which takes place on February 10 in Los Angeles, California, in the USA.

It caps an incredible 12 months for Framlingham’s Ed, who went to the town’s Thomas Mills High School.

Posting a message on social networking website Twitter he said: “Buzzing to announce I am going to be performing live on @TheGRAMMYs...Cannot wait!!”

The 55th annual Grammy Awards features artists from across the globe, with trophies handed out in 81 different categories.

Other artists on the bill include fellow British artists Mumford & Sons as well as US star Taylor Swift, Rihanna and The Black Keys.
