SUFFOLK star Ed Sheeran could be adding to his growing collection of music awards next month.

The Framlingham singer-songwriter has been nominated for another two gongs at the 10th Annual European Urban Music Awards (UMAs).

The double BRIT-award winner has two nominations in the Best Collaboration category - one for Watchtower featuring Devlin, and a second nomination for Hush Little Baby with Wretch 32.

Watchtower is also up for Best Music Video at the awards, taking place on December 1 and due to be televised on Sky TV, with syndicated highlights due to be televised to countries worldwide.

Sheeran headed the field at this year’s Brit Awards with four nominations, eventually taking the title of Best Male Artist and Best British Breakthrough Act.

The former Thomas Mills High School pupil has already collected some top awards and performed a sold-out UK tour.

He has enjoyed incredible sales figures in the last year, with singles such as The A Team and Lego House, as well as topping the album chart with his debut, called +.

The 21-year-old also joined some of the biggest names in British pop for the London Olympic closing ceremony, including Take That, the Spice Girls, Madness and Queen.

Among the other artists vying for a UMA next month will be British born singer-songwriter Rita Ora, who leads the way with an unprecedented seven award nominations.

She will join Scottish-born Emeli Sandé and seven other acts going up against Sheeran for the Best Music Video award.

As well as getting their hands on an award, the winner of each category will also receive a limited edition diamond-encrusted tablet computer worth £2,000 each from the award ceremony’s sponsors.
